Cold River Radio Show presented its live broadcast on March 10th , 7pm at Theatre in the Wood in Intervale, NH. Jonathan Sarty, the Cold River Band and the incredible line-up of talent included a very special appearance from the stomping grounds of Quebec, de Temps Anton, storytellers Lauretta Phillips and Cora Chiampi, and Jackson resident and NY Times best selling author, Lisa Gardner Stay and the Inspiring, tender and passionate singer/songwriter, Vanessa Torres.
Since 2003, DeTemps Antan have been exploring and performing time-honored melodies from the stomping grounds of Quebec’s musical past. Using fiddle, accordion, harmonica, guitar, bouzouki and a number of other instruments, Éric Beaudry, André Brunet, and Pierre-Luc Dupuis blend boundless energy with the unmistakable joie de vivre found only in traditional Quebecois music.
Cora Ciampi and Lauretta Phillips have been telling tales together since 1995. What started as a fun thing to do one sunny afternoon has become a new way for both of them to share the joy of storytelling with audiences near and far. They write most of their own stories but their repertoire also includes folk tales, small tales, cat tales, rat tales, and just plain tales. They tell their tales at churches, schools, inns, retirement centers, women's organizations, seniors groups, and for radio and television.
